The origins of Happy ApE
The concept of Happy ApE was developed at a meditation retreat in 2012, but the concept and teachings is based on a multitude of sources stretching back several thousand years.
The concept is based on the meditation practices Anapanasati and Vipassana, which teach you to calm the mind and see the true nature of reality.
Thanks is given to Satya Narayan Goenka, dhamma.org, and the unbroken string of teachers leading back to Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha). Thanks is also given to the multitude of people, who are (or have been) deepening the practical and theoretical understanding of mindfulness meditation and human physiology and psychology.
